<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a double sliding type platform gate miniaturizable capable of forming a wide space P for installing other equipment, in a door pocket body 10. <P>SOLUTION: The door pocket body 10 is installed at a platform, and a door storage space 10a is formed inside. A sliding body 11 is slidably supported to the door pocket body 10, and a door body 12 is slidably supported to the sliding body 11. A drive mechanism 20 is provided to drive both the door body 12 and the sliding body 11 simultaneously so that the speed of the door body 12 becomes double the speed of the sliding body 11.
