<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plate-like optical component permitting antireflection, without reducing the amount of transmitted light. <P>SOLUTION: The plate-like optical component 10 includes a substrate 12, in which an antireflection fine structure 14 is formed on one side thereof and in which an antireflection layer 18 is formed on the other side thereof. The antireflection fine structure 14 is a collective body, in which uniform quadrangular pyramid protrusions 16 are arranged. Accordingly, both the sides of the substrate 12 are provided with the antireflection function. In particular, since the antireflection fine structure 14 is formed on the inner side, the refractive index gradually varies at the interface between the substrate 12 and the air layer, and the decrease in the amount of transmitted light due to the reflection is suppressed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
