<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an audiovisual (AV hereafter) reproduction system, an AV apparatus, and an AV reproduction method enabling a user to enjoy as much music or video as possible by using a recording medium of a small capacity. <P>SOLUTION: A server 30 writes only a part of music data read out of a music data base 38 in the recording medium 20 via a data write part 32. A music reproducer 10 equipped with the recording medium 20 reads the music data out of the recording medium 20, is communication-connected to the server 30 via the Internet, and requests a shortage of the music data. When an ID code and a password sent from the music reproducer 10 coincide with the ones which have been registered in advance, the server 30 permits log-on and sends the shortage of the music data to the music reproducer 10. The music reproducer 10 synthesizes the music data read from the recording medium 20 with the music data sent by the server 30 to make complete music data and reproduces the music. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
