摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize smooth slip control for smooth deceleration so as to improve drivability. <P>SOLUTION: This control device for a lock-up clutch for a vehicle is provided with a lock-up clutch directly connecting an engine to an automatic transmission, and a slip control means to conduct slip control to the lock-up clutch when vehicle speed is decelerated. A differential speed detecting means is provided to detect differential speed between engine speed and input shaft speed of the automatic transmission, and an air quantity adjusting means is provided to control to adjust air quantity when difference between the differential speed detected by the differential speed detecting means and a target slip speed is larger than a set value to adjust it to be smaller than the set value. Slip control is executed after the difference between the value of the detected speed and the target slip speed detected by the differential speed detecting means becomes smaller than the set value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p>
