<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high efficiency small generator at a low price. <P>SOLUTION: A high efficiency small generator can be obtained at a low price by providing a magnet generator for supplying power to a load, a DC power supply for supplying a DC voltage to a DC circuit where all control windings of saturable reactors and a switching element are connected in series, a diode connected in parallel with the control windings of the saturable reactors, a voltage detector for detecting the terminal voltage of the magnet generator, a subtractor outputting an error signal obtained by subtracting the output signal of the voltage detector from the output signal of a voltage command signal generator, an operational amplifier outputting a control signal for sustaining the voltage of the magnet generator at a desired level by amplifying the error signal and compensating for a variation in generator voltage incident to a variation in delay reactive power, a pulse generator generating an on duty pulse signal from the control signal of the operational amplifier, and a drive circuit for opening/closing the switching element in response to a pulse signal obtained by inverting the output signal from the pulse generator, and controlling a current flowing through the saturable reactor when the switching element is opened/closed thereby controlling the terminal voltage of the magnet generator varying as the delay reactive power of the load varies to a constant level. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
