<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the time of pattern variation according to the type of a player in a game machine stopping the variation of the patterns to be variably displayed on a pattern display device by the switch operation by the player. <P>SOLUTION: This game machine is provided with the pattern display device variably displaying the plurality of patterns, a pattern variation shortening switch operable by the player, and a control device shortening the pattern variation to be displayed on the pattern display device according to the operation of the pattern variation shortening switch.
