PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel injection system which enables a grain refinement of fuel and an improvement in combustion efficiency. SOLUTION: The fuel injection system has an injector and a nozzle body 11 which receives the fuel supplied by the injector through a fuel injection port 14 and injects the fuel. An assembly of grooves is formed on the outer diameter surface of the nozzle body 11. The assembly of grooves is provided with a plurality of first groove parts formed by being extended in the periphery and a plurality of helical second groove parts formed by being connected to the first groove parts. The cross-sectional area of the second groove is gradually diminished from the entrance side to the exit side of the assembly of grooves. The speed of the fuel is increased, and the fuel is made vortical by a helix of the second groove. Then the fuel flows through the first and the second groove parts in zigzag fashion.
