摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the reliability of a judgment for flowing-out of slag by restraining the influence of disturbance such as vibration of a crane generated in the plant, to the minimum, since a slag detecting instrument for detecting the flowing-out of the slag into a tundish based on the vibration of an immersion nozzle at the end stage of pouring from a ladle, is occasionally lowered in the detecting accuracy by easily affectied by the disturbance, when the molten metal in the ladle is poured into the tundish through the immersion nozzle and continuously cast. SOLUTION: From the view point of generation mechanism of disturbing vibration caused by the variation of the operational condition, in order to restrain the factor for changing the vibration of the immersion nozzle with the cause except for the flowing-out of the slag to the minimum, the dipping depth of the immersion nozzle into the molten metal in the tundish, is controlled within 3% to the previously decided dipping depth into the tundish and thus, the detecting accuracy of the flowing-out of the slag can be improved.
