Engine torque and clutch torque control method for automobile drive train with automatic gearbox with clutch torque increased according to given function after selection of new gear ratio

The control method has the clutch torque increased in dependence on a given function, e.g. a continuously increasing function or a linear ramp function, after selection of a new gear ratio by the automatic gearbox. An independent claim for a device for control of the engine torque and the clutch torque in an automobile drive train is also included.
