<p>An improved method for manufacturing spectacles has the frame made from flat material cut to shape and with each lens aperture with an open design. The lenses are provided with a groove around the edges into which the edges of the frame are clipped. The free end of each lens aperture is clipped over the top edge of the frame to close the aperture and provide a secure grip without welding, brazing or without using separate fasteners. The spectacle frame, plus attached side frames, is made in one piece using any suitable material.</p> |
