PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a silver halide color photosensitive material having superior yellow reproducibility and excellent in density uniformity and uneven application resistance of an overall output image surface, and to provide a method for manufacturing the same. SOLUTION: In the silver halide color photosensitive material having at least one silver halide emulsion layer on a support, the silver halide emulsion layer contains a dye forming coupler represented by formula (a) and a compound represented by formula (HBS-1).
