PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grinding wheel, easily grinding the whole surface to be ground even if a projection is projected from the surface to be ground, and a working method of a rolling bearing device for a wheel using the grinding wheel. SOLUTION: The respective shaft parts of five bolts 10 passed and fixed concentrically to a flange 5 for fitting a brake disk are externally fitted to five elongated grooves 20 substantially concentrically formed on a grinding surface 19 of the grinding wheel 15, and in the condition where the brake disk fitting surface 11 and the grinding surface 19 are brought into contact with each other, the brake disk fitting surface is put in the state of being disabled from rotating in the circumferential direction.
