ANISOTROPIC CONDUCTIVE SHEET PROCESS FOR PRODUCING THE SAME, AND CIRCUIT BOARD INSPECTION APPARATUS

An anisotropic conductive sheet wherein even if the thickness thereof is small, needed conductivity can be maintained in repeated use over a prolonged period of time so that high resolving power and prolonged service life can be attained; a process for producing the same; and a circuit board inspection apparatus including the anisotropic conductive sheet. In this anisotropic conductive sheet, magnetic conductive particles are contained in thicknesswise oriented and chain-constituting form in a substrate made of an insulating elastic polymeric substance, and an insulating reinforcing mesh material is incorporated in the substrate. There is provided a process for producing the anisotropic conductive sheet, comprising preparing a molding material composed of a polymeric substance material curable into an elastic polymeric substance and, incorporated therein, magnetic conductive particles; forming a molding material layer wherein a reinforcing mesh material is incorporated in immersed form in the molding material; and while or after applying a magnetic field to the molding material layer in the direction of thickness thereof, curing the molding material layer.
