A product sail management system comprises a plurality of product vending machines (1) each having an accommodating part capable of accommodating a plurality of products; and a vending machine management apparatus (80) connected to the product vending machines (1) via a communication line. The product vending machines (1) each comprises a time adjustment managing part (64) for making the managed time coincident with the time information managed by the vending machine management apparatus (80); delivered-product counting part (63) for counting products delivered from the accommodating part; a product number setting part (62) for setting the number of products that can be accommodated by the accommodating part; and an information transmitting part (65) for transmitting, to the vending machine management apparatus (80), both replenishment request information for requesting for product replenishment and the time as managed by the product vending machine (1) when the number of stocks as calculated from the set number and the count number of the delivered-product counting part (63) becomes less than a predetermined value. The vending machine management apparatus (80) and the product vending machines (1) make their managed times coincident with each other. This allows accurate information of product sales to be collected without wasting business chances of selling products.
