BACKLIGHT ASSEMBLY A DETECTION UNIT FOR DETECTING LEAKAGE CURRENT OF EACH LAMP MOUNTED ON A RECEIVING GROOVE FORMED IN A BOTTOM SURFACE OF A CONTAINER

PURPOSE: A backlight assembly is provided to prevent an error operation of a detection unit for detecting leakage current of each lamp, and improve a packing density of the detection unit, by mounting the detection unit on a receiving groove formed in a bottom surface of a container. CONSTITUTION: A lamp assembly(100) has a plurality of lamps(110) and a power supply module for supplying a lamp driving voltage between both sides of respective lamps. A detection unit(300) detects leakages current of respective lamps. A container(200) consists of a bottom surface(220) and four side walls(230) extended from the bottom surface so as to receive the lamp assembly. The bottom surface has a receiving groove(222) for receiving the detection unit. A power source generator(400) is mounted on a back surface of the container, and generates the lamp driving voltage.
