PURPOSE: A method for supplying a designated number display service by using other user's terminal is provided to perceive a designated number registered by a service subscriber by using stored information, and to transmit the designated number to a receiver terminal as a CID(Caller ID), so that the receiver terminal can display the designated number as the CID. CONSTITUTION: A designated number register inputs an intrinsic number, a self user number, a password, and a telephone number of a receiver terminal(S310). The register attempts calling by pressing a speech button of a mobile terminal(S320). A call request signal of the mobile terminal is transmitted to an MSC(S330). A CID service server applies the user number and the password to designated number register information, and confirms whether a caller is registered(S340). If so(S350), the MSC replaces a designated number with a CID, and transmits the CID to the receiver terminal(S360). The receiver terminal is ringing when a call is received, and displays the designated number(S370).
