PURPOSE: A multi-battery charging device and a method of a mobile terminal are provided to comprise plural charging devices inside a mobile terminal to miniaturize an external charger, and to charge plural batteries while suggesting a one-chip solution, thereby reducing the mounting area for parts. CONSTITUTION: A controller performs a charging mode(310), and decides whether a simultaneous charging signal is inputted from a simultaneous charging/discharging switch(312). If so, the controller outputs an ON-signal to the second switch and the third switch(314). The controller decides whether a signal which shows that an internal battery is completely charged is inputted(316). If so, the controller outputs an OFF-control signal to the second switch(318). The controller decides whether a signal which shows that an external battery is completely charged is inputted(320). If so, the controller outputs an OFF-control signal to the third switch(322). The controller decides whether an inputted power is more than a preset rated input power(324). If so, the controller outputs an OFF-control signal to the first switch(326).
