PURPOSE: Lamp supporter structure of a rotary knob assembly of a drum-type washing machine is provided to prevent shake and breakage caused by side impact through support of a rotary switch and to hinder the light of a lamp from coming through. CONSTITUTION: A rotary knob assembly of a drum-type washing machine has a rotary switch(5) comprising an encoder(51) fixed on a circuit substrate, and an encoder shaft(52) connected to the encoder; a rotary knob(50) combined to the encoder shaft of the rotary switch; and a circular lamp supporter(6) fixed on the circuit substrate to cover the rotary knob. A shaft support rib(61), supporting the outside of the encoder shaft, is installed to the inside of a main frame(60) of the lamp supporter. A seal rib(66), settling shake of the encoder shaft, is formed to the inside of a circular vent hole formed in the center of the shaft support rib. A knob support rib(63), supporting the rotary knob, is formed to the top of the shaft support rib. |
