PURPOSE: A position measuring system and a method based on an A(Assisted)-GPS and a recording medium for storing a program thereof are provided to supply address information of a position measuring equipment to a mobile communication terminal in order to reduce a preparation time while reducing a data exchange time through TCP/IP socket communication, thereby shortening an entire service response time. CONSTITUTION: An MS(Mobile Station)(101) transmits A-GPS position measuring data by a wireless signal. A PDSN(Packet Data Serving Node)(107) connects the wireless signal with a wired network, and supplies a packet data service with a communication protocol. A WAP(Wireless Application Protocol) gateway(109) supports a mutual change between a wireless communication protocol and a wired communication protocol. A PDE(Position Determination Equipment)(115) receives the A-GPS position measuring data, and measures a current position of the MS(101). An LBSP(Location Based Services Platform)(111) transmits a packet message including address information to the MS(101) through the WAP gateway(109) and the PDSN(107).
