Switchgear having a vacuum valve (1) of which axis extends in parallel to a floor, comprises: a load side conductor (2) connected to one end of the vacuum valve (1); a first connection conductor (9) of which longitudinal direction extends in parallel to axial direction of said vacuum valve (1), and of which one end is connected to the other end of the vacuum valve (1); and a second connection conductor (10) of which longitudinal direction extends substantially in perpendicular to axial direction of the vacuum valve (1), and of which one end is connected to the other end of the first connection conductor (9) and the other end is connected to a bus bar (11). As a result, it is possible to downsize the switchgear.
