PURPOSE: A packing container for flat display glass is provided to stably maintain the lateral aligned state of the loaded flat display glass when it is loaded and transported and to prevent it from leaning to right or left, as well as to allow a worker to easily pack the flat display glass safely and effectively or to unpack it. CONSTITUTION: The packing container for flat display glass, which loads and packs the latter vertically, includes: a loading frame(110), to be loaded by flat display glass; and a shutting and opening member, shutting and opening the upper and front area of the loading frame(110). The loading frame(110) also comprises: a loading surface(112), supporting the lower end of each loaded flat display glass; a backing surface(114), arranged on the rear end of the loading surface(112) vertically to the latter(112), and supporting the back surface of each flat display glass(120); and a right and left alignment(130), comprising right and left side wall which is formed by connecting both lateral ends of the backing and the loading surface(114,112).
