REFRIGERATOR FOR SECURING THE MAXIMUM EFFECTIVE SPACE INSIDE FREEZER COMPARTMENT AND PREVENTING LEAKAGE OF DRINKING WATER

PURPOSE: A refrigerator is provided to secure the maximum effective space inside a freezer compartment and to prevent leakage of drinking water by mounting an ice-making machine and an ice bank at an inside of a door for a freezer compartment. CONSTITUTION: A main body(100) forms an external appearance. A door(110) is mounted at the front of the main body, capable of being opened and shut. An ice-making machine(200) is installed at an upper part of an inner wall surface of the door for manufacturing ice and has a water supply part(220) for receiving supply of water. An ice bank(300) is installed under the ice-making machine for storing the manufactured ice. A dispenser(130) is exposed to an outer wall surface of the door for receiving ice from the ice bank and discharging the received ice. A drinking water supply pipe(400) is mounted along by an inner part of one wall surface of the main body, has one end exposed to supply drinking water to the water supply part from an upper part of the ice-making machine and the other end connected with water works outside the main body or a water purifier, and has a water supply valve(410) formed on a pipe.
