<p>PURPOSE: Provided is a method for treatment and reuse of white water from paper manufacturing process using thermophilic anaerobic bacteria. Generally, temperature of white water from paper manufacturing process is about 50-65 deg.C, so thermophilic anaerobic digestion is applicable to treat white water. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises the steps of collecting white water from paper manufacturing process; treating white water by thermophilic anaerobic digestion at 55-60 deg.C; and reuse treated water to paper manufacturing process. Thermophilic anaerobic bacteria are packed to an anaerobic reactor in the volume ratio of 20-60%.</p> |
