SEWING MACHINE HAVING PUNCHING FUNCTION, REDUCING WORK HOUR AND INCREASING WORKABILITY, AND WORKING METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A sewing machine having punching function is characterized by punching textile, sewing a circumference of a punched eyelet, reducing work hour, increasing workability and reducing a production cost. CONSTITUTION: A sewing machine having punching function comprises: a bed containing a flat bed side; a slave part stood on a rear of the bed; and an arm set on an upper part of the slave part in parallel with the bed. A punching part(30) of the sewing machine comprises an upper punching part(10) and a lower punching part(20). The upper punching part installed on a side of a front end of the arm comprises: an operating part(12) elevating vertically a punching shaft(11) by using a controlling part controlling operation of the sewing machine; and a punching blade(11a) connected with the punching shaft. The lower punching part installed on a side of the bed comprises a punching blade insertion part(21) into which the punching blade is inserted. A working method of the sewing machine is as follows: setting textile on the bed; pressing the textile with an upper pressing device and a lower pressing plate, and transferring the textile to the punching part; punching the textile with the punching part; transferring the punched textile to a sewing position; and then sewing the textile.
