ILLUMINATION APPARATUS USED FOR LARGE SUBSTRATE DETECTING DEVICE CAPABLE OF IRRADIATING LIGHT ONTO CENTER PART OF DETECTED LCD GLASS SUBSTRATE

PURPOSE: An illumination apparatus used for a large substrate detecting device is provided to irradiate light onto a center part of a detected LCD glass substrate while using two-division light focusing members. CONSTITUTION: An illumination apparatus includes a light source(210a) such as a metal halide lamp. Two metal halide lamps are installed both sides of an upper surface of a lighting apparatus in such a manner that the metal halide lamps irradiate light towards an inspector. Reflecting members(220a,230a) are installed at a front of each light source in order to transmit light to a light focusing member(240a). The reflecting members(220a,230a) include a mirror. An angle of the first reflecting member(220a) installed at the light source is adjusted in order to reflect light transmitted from the light source to a second reflecting member(230a).
