CRUISE CABLE INTERLOCKING DEVICE AND THE METHOD FOR REMOVING TIME DELAY AND OVERSHOOT FOR CONSTANT-SPEED TRAVELING AND PREVENTING NOISE CAUSED BY THE CRUISE CABLE IN RELEASING THE CONSTANT-SPEED TRAVELING BY INTERLOCKING THE CRUISE CABLE WITH AN ACCELERATOR CABLE

PURPOSE: A cruise cable interlocking device and the method are provided to improve traveling stability of a vehicle by removing the time delay and overshoot generated in constant-speed traveling by interlocking the cruise cable with an accelerator cable and to remove bang noise generated in taking off the cruise cable by a cruise actuator in releasing the constant-speed traveling. CONSTITUTION: A cruise cable interlocking device is composed of a movement measuring unit for measuring the movement of an accelerator cable(53); an auto-cruise unit(63) for calculating the movement of a cruise cable(67) according to the measured movement of the accelerator cable and outputting an electric signal for moving the cruise cable; and a cruise actuator(65) driven according to an output signal of the auto-cruise unit to move the cruise cable. The movement measuring unit comprises sensing objects(71) mounted at the accelerator cable and the cruise cable, respectively and an infrared sensor(73) for measuring the movement of the accelerator cable by measuring the movable distance of the accelerator cable by the monitoring of each sensing object.
