PURPOSE: A circuit breaker is provided to increase an opening distance and improve the breaking performance by installing a motion transform unit at a stroke section of a movable contactor. CONSTITUTION: A fixing contactor(20) has a predetermined contact point. A movable contactor(18) is attached to or detached from the fixing contactor. A contact point is formed at one side of the movable contactor corresponding to the contact point of the fixing contactor. A spring(22) is arranged at a lower part of the movable contactor in order to provide power to the linear direction. A motion transformation unit(30) is installed at an operating range of the movable contactor in order to transform linear motion of the movable contactor to rotational motion.
