PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric blower of high blower efficiency which secures stably high sealing performance to prevent circulating flow in a blower part. SOLUTION: This electric blower is provided with a blower fan 8 including a front surface shroud 81 having a suction opening 81a formed thereon, a back surface shroud 82 apart from and facing to the front surface shroud 81, and a plurality of blades 83 arranged between the front surface shroud 81 and the back surface shroud 81 radially in a plane and dividing space between the shrouds, a guide vane 9 guiding air flow discharged from the blower fan 8 to a motor part, and a fan cover 10 covering the blower fan 8 and the guide vane 9, having a suction opening 10a provided at a position opposing to the suction opening 81a and having a seal member 11 keeping slide contact with the suction opening 81a of the front surface shroud 81 provided on the suction opening. An annular member 12 is provided adjacent to the suction opening 81a of the front surface shroud 81 and the annular member 12 is fixedly caulked together with the front surface shroud 81.
