METHOD FOR AUTOMATICALLY PRODUCING DIGITAL CONTINUITY-BASED INTELLIGENT DIGITAL ACTOR AND EXTRA FOR ENDOWING A DIGITAL ACTOR OR EXTRA WITH A NATURAL AND INTELLIGENT MOTION

PURPOSE: A method for automatically producing digital continuity-based intelligent digital actor and extra is provided to endow a digital actor or extra with a natural and intelligent motion by using a motion data on the basis of a digital continuity inputted by a user. CONSTITUTION: A digital continuity is inputted and analyzed(S1,S2). Motion codes corresponding to the analyzed digital continuity are produced(S3). The nearest motion code is searched and extracted from a predetermined motion database on the basis of the motion codes. An environment information parameter is extracted(S6), a behavior style parameter of a digital actor and an extra is applied(S7), the extracted motion is converted so that a collision between the digital actor and extra do is escaped(S8). Thereafter, the motion data is again searched whether a reference motion nearby to the converted motion exists and according to the search result. The motion is changed by using the reference motion or an articulation parameter(S5). The determined motion is applied to the digital actor and extra and then the result is displayed(S9).
