KEYBOARD FOR EMITTING LIGHT OF MULTIPLE SELECTABLE CHARACTERS USING VARIOUS LEDS AND KEYBOARD SKIN

PURPOSE: A keyboard for emitting light of multiple selectable characters using various LEDs(Light Emitting Diode) and a keyboard skin are provided to make an available character group among multiple key buttons selectively emit the light by using a side light emitting optical fiber. CONSTITUTION: An interface supplies the light generated from the LEDs(200,201) to the optical fibers(300,301). The side light emitting optical fiber forms a diffraction lattice to withdraw the light from the side. The key button(100) has a partition to making the light advance to a displayed character and penetrates the light by forming a character part transparently. A controller(400) makes the character group selected by a character selection button emit the light by controlling the LED of the optical fiber in a PWM(Pulse Width Modulation).
