PURPOSE: A tether of an airbag module for a passenger seat with a chamber bag is provided to cut down the manufacturing cost, to reduce working process, and to increase the productivity by integrally forming the main tether and the support tether with the airbag cushion. CONSTITUTION: A tether of an airbag module is composed of a main tether(71) placed in an airbag cushion(50), overlapped with an inlet(51) of the airbag cushion for flowing gas in and combined with the inside of the airbag cushion by sewing, and a support tether(73) overlapped with the end of the main tether around the inlet of the airbag cushion and combined with the middle of the main tether by sewing to form the space from the main tether by pressure of gas injected in deploying the airbag cushion. The ends of the main tether and the support tether are overlapped with a retainer(40) around the inlet of the airbag cushion and integrally combined with the airbag cushion by sewing.
