GEOMAGNETIC SENSOR FOR DETECTING DIP ANGLE AND METHOD FOR DETECTING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A geomagnetic sensor for detecting a dip angle and a method for detecting the same are provided to measure an azimuth angle by exactly detecting the dip angle. CONSTITUTION: A geomagnetic sensor is provided for detecting a dip angle. The geomagnetic sensor includes a driving signal generating part(110), a rotation angle measuring part(160), a two axis flux gate sensor(120), a signal processing part(130), a memory(150), and a control part. The driving signal generating part(110) generates an electrical signal driving the two axis flux gate sensor(120). The electrical signal includes a pulse wave and an inverted pulse wave. The two axis flux-gate sensor(120) includes two flux gate vertical to each other. The signal processing part(130) performs amplification, chopping, etc. if a voltage component is induced. The rotation angle measuring part(160) calculates a pitch angle and a roll angle.
