PURPOSE: Provided is a hair drier having a filter to remove carbon particles that are generated from a motor for use in driving a hair blowing fan and thus, to protect a user from harmful influences of the carbon particles. CONSTITUTION: The hair drier(2) includes a main body(4) composed of a heat generating unit(10), a hair blowing fan(8), a filter(26), a driving motor(6), a filter(26), and a power switch(22), and an electric outlet(24). In particular, the filter(26) is disposed between the driving motor(6) and the hair blowing fan(8) in order to filter or remove harmful carbon particles generated from the operation of the hair blowing fan(8). The filter(26) creates piezoelectric effects by generating static electricity to collect carbon particles or dusts from outside.
