PURPOSE: A fixing device is provided to reduce costs and weight of the device and allow for ease of installation by eliminating the necessity of using a heavy metal plate. CONSTITUTION: A fixing device(20) comprises a semi-circular vertical supporting and fixing member(21) including a pair of vertical fixing plates(22), connecting plates(23), and a reinforcing support piece(25). The vertical fixing plates have coupling holes formed at constant intervals. The connecting plates are fixed at outer surfaces of the vertical fixing plates which are spaced apart from each other. The reinforcing support piece connects the connecting plates into a single unit. The paired vertical supporting and fixing members are opposed with each other and coupled by a bolt and a nut. A vertical mounting plate(26) is fixed at an outer surface of one of the vertical supporting and fixing members, and a fixing member mounting plate(36) is fixed at an outer surface of the vertical mounting plate. A lower supporting and fixing member(30) and an upper cover fixing member(40) are mounted at an outer surface of the fixing member mounting plate.
