PURPOSE: A high-performance funnel is provided to intercept smell while enabling smooth drainage, to preventing a ball from getting moldy by fur, to prevent the ball from corroding, and to prevent a drain pipe from being stopped up by making water drain through a drainage port. CONSTITUTION: A high-performance funnel(10) is made of a material like polyvinyl chloride or stainless steel. The high-performance funnel intercepts smell while a ball(16) stops up a drainage port(18) when water(14) drains. The drainage port is not stopped up although dregs like dirt and a hair are discharged. The exterior shape of the funnel comprises terraced connection grooves(20) and the funnel is suitable for a sink of a house or an apartment house, a bathtub, a washstand, a veranda, and a toilet bowl of a rest room. The ball made of urethane or synthetic resin is used after antibacterial treatment.
