PURPOSE: A system and a method for mapping a data model without changing metadata or structure are provided to offer a mapping format to support a scenario mapped each other without changing the metadata or the structure of more than two data sources, and offer a stackable mapping architecture to generate diverse mapping steps from the source to a target. CONSTITUTION: Source metadata(102) represents a source concept of a source data model(102). Target metadata(110) represents a target concept of at least one target data model(104). A mapping component(106) maps the concept from the source data model to the target metadata associated with more than one target data model among the target data models by receiving the source metadata and the target metadata.
