PURPOSE: A connecting device for electrical connection is provided to electrically connect a receptacle connector with a plug connector according to a mutual pushing operation and easily disconnect the two connectors from each other by pushing a slide coupler. CONSTITUTION: A connecting device includes a receptacle connector(100), a plug connector(200), a slide coupler(300), a plurality of catching pieces(400), and an elastic ring(500). The receptacle connector is composed of a receptacle body(110), an insulator(120) inserted into the inner space of the receptacle body, and a plurality of contacts(130) arranged at a predetermined interval on the insulator. The plug connector includes a plug body having catch protrusions(220), an insulator(230) inserted into the inner space of the plug body, and a plurality of contacts(240) arranged on the insulator at a predetermined interval and connected with the contacts of the receptacle connector. The slide connector is slidably combined with the plug body. The catching pieces are interposed between the inner face of the slide coupler and the outer face of the plug body. One end of the catching pieces selectively comes into contact with the catch protrusion of the plug body and the other end selectively comes into contact with the inner face of the slide coupler. The elastic ring is interposed between the inner side of the slide coupler and the outer face of the plug body and elastically supports the top face of the catching piecesses.
