PURPOSE: A method and a system for offering an Internet learning guidance service through message notification and automatic password change using a terminal controlling program are provided to perform learning guidance, prevent a user from using a computer for a long time, and enhance learning ability by allowing use of a client terminal after performing learning. CONSTITUTION: A main server(100) operates a web site(300), and includes a memory for storing a program and a processor. The program comprises a web interface module(111), a subscriber managing module(112) for remotely controlling the client terminals(20,50), a settlement managing module(113), a grade/level managing module(115), a reporting managing module(116), a message notification managing module(117), a server side operation database(118), a proxy interface processor(120), and an Internet information server web processor(121). The processor performs subscription, log-on/off, settlement, reporting, learning course setting, user management, and message notification request to an SMS center by the program.
