PURPOSE: An inverter circuit is provided to increase an input power factor and simplify the configuration of the circuit, by using an inductor and a capacitor having an inductance and a capacitance falling within the preset range. CONSTITUTION: An inverter circuit comprises a rectifier unit(40) for rectifying power output from an external AC power source(30); a compensation unit(50) including an inductor(L2) and a capacitor(C2) having an inductance and a capacitance, respectively, falling within the range which is preset such that the power factor of the AC power rectified by the rectifier unit is compensated; and a power supply unit(60) for supplying the power of which power factor is compensated by the compensation unit, to an external device.
