WAP XML EXTENSION FOR WIFI AND DTPT CONNECTIONS ON MOBILE DEVICE

PURPOSE: WAP(Wireless Application Protocol) XML(eXtensible Markup Language) extension for WiFi(Wireless Fidelity) and DTPT(DeskTop-PassThrough) connections on a mobile device is provided to improve usefulness of the mobile device through various networks. CONSTITUTION: Paththrough provisioning parameters are acquired from an SIM(Subscriber ID Module) card or other device(410). The acquired parameters are automatically included to the device without manual setting of a user(420). Available network connections of the device for connecting to the Paththrough are determined(430). The paththrough connection is updated based on the determined network connection(440).
