HEAT EXCHANGER MANUFACTURING METHOD FOR JOINING A CORE FORMED BY DISPOSING FINS BETWEEN LAYERED PLATES IN A TRAY

PURPOSE: A heat exchanger manufacturing method is provided to effectively produce drawn cup-type heat exchangers by forming a core by arranging plates in a tray and interposing fins between the plates. CONSTITUTION: A heat exchanger manufacturing method is composed of steps for arranging plates(121,131,150) to form a cup unit(112) comprising a tank unit(111) on at least one end and a flow path forming a passage for a heat exchanging medium on a flat surface; disposing fins(160) between the plates; forming a core by layering the plates in a predetermined position of a tray and interposing the plates between the plates; and fastening the drawn core with a fixture and then bonding the core. After the plate arranging step, the oil remaining on the plates is removed and flux is coated and dried on the plates.
