ACTIVE PHASE ARRAY ANTENNA SYSTEM USING WAVEGUIDE ANTENNAS INCLINED AT PREDETERMINED ANGLE

PURPOSE: An active phase array antenna system is provided to achieve improved electrical quality of the system and convenience in system design, by applying an active module including a phase shifter to a plurality of waveguide antennas constituting an array antenna. CONSTITUTION: An active phase array antenna system using microwave antennas(301), comprises a feeder unit(305) and a transmitting/receiving active module(313). The transmitting/receiving active module includes a phase shift unit for adjusting phases of signal power. The waveguide antennas are inclined at a predetermined angle on a horizontal plane. The active phase array antenna system further includes a rotating plate(304) arranged beneath the waveguide antennas. The waveguide antennas rotate by the rotation of the rotating plate, to thereby track a satellite signal and control a beam steering.
