PURPOSE: A method for restoring erased information in a mobile terminal is provided to solve a problem that if a user erases information stored in a memory by a mistake or on purpose, he/she cannot view it any longer even when necessary afterwards. CONSTITUTION: When inputting of a delete key is checked in a mobile terminal, an address of information to be deleted from a memory is checked, and then, an index corresponding to the address is deleted(S1,S2). When inputting of a restoration key is checked, the address of information that has been deleted is searched in order of addresses of stored information in the memory and the corresponding information is temporarily restored and displayed(S3-S7). It is checked whether there is an address for information to be stored in the memory and a storage address select display window is displayed, selection of the address for the information to be stored is checked, and then the temporarily restored information is stored again in a memory region corresponding to the selected address(S10,S12,S13,S14).
