PURPOSE: An apparatus for protecting an LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) screen is provided to prevent breakage and damage of the LCD screen due to outside shock by using a support frame of high strength which holds the LCD screen, by inserting both lateral sides of the LCD screen into guide grooves formed therein. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for protecting an LCD comprises an upper case having a protection window at the center region thereof, a lower case coupled to the upper case, and an LCD screen loaded between the upper case and the lower case. A support frame(11,12) has guide grooves(11a,12a) formed therein. Both lateral sides of the LCD screen are inserted into the guide grooves of the support frame, thus being securely supported by the support frame. The support frame is formed of one material selected from SUS(Steel Use Stainless) and liquefied metal.
