PURPOSE: A tub combining structure of a drum-type washing machine is provided to increase a watertight effect by evenly distributing a force of constriction on the combining surface between a front tub and a center tub through coupling screws and to enhance working efficiency by easily buckling bolts and nuts and by simplifying the combining procedure. CONSTITUTION: A tub combining structure of a drum-type washing machine is composed of a front tub(221) forming the whole surface of a tub in the washing machine; a center tub(211) forming a cylindrical surface of the tub to be combined on the backside of the front tub; a sealing member installed between the front tub and the center tub to prevent water leakage; and a buckling band(301) tightly combining the front tub, the center tub, and the sealing member to surround outer surface of the combination between the front tub and the center tub with a tension. Each end of the contact between the front tub and the center tub is curled outward. The section of the sealing member is a shape of T. The buckling band is shorter than the peripheral length of combination of the front and the center tub to shape a ring having an open portion. |
