PURPOSE: A system, a device, and a method for managing packaged metadata distribution, the device for managing personal metadata, a client terminal, and a computer program are provided to enable a user to obtain/use digital contents through the communication network by packaging/offering multiple metadata related to the contents. CONSTITUTION: A media capsule configuration information database(212), a contents list configuration information database(214), and a raw database(216) store the metadata related to the digital contents. A media capsule provider(230) packages the multiple metadata stored in the database. A media capsule distributor(228) distributes the media capsule to the users through the communication network. A media capsule distributed location information database(220) manages distributed location information.
