PURPOSE: An apparatus and method for producing stereo image contents are provided to reproduce multi-view images without wearing glasses by using a subject image obtained by three cameras. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for producing stereo image contents includes an image acquisition unit(10), a storage unit(30), an image synthesizer(40), a stereo image generator(50), and an output unit(60). The image acquisition unit acquires a plurality of 2-dimensional images from one subject. The storage unit stores the plurality of 2-dimensional images. The image synthesizer synthesizes the plurality of images stored in the storage unit to generate one image. The stereo image generator divides the synthesized image to reconstruct a plurality of unaided-eye stereo images. The output unit outputs the reconstructed unaided-eye stereo images. |
