PURPOSE: A semi-drying method of a drum-type washing machine is provided to improve drying effects in spite of shorter time and to minimize creation of wrinkles on the laundry by alternating some laundry-loosening stages with dewatering and drying stages. CONSTITUTION: A semi-drying method of a drum-type washing machine is composed of a simple dewatering stage rotating a washing tub in a low speed for dewatering the laundry by a centrifugal force if the eccentricity of the laundry is in the permissible range(S10, S10'); an initial laundry-loosening stage rotating the washing tub agitated to disentangle the laundry after the simple dewatering stage(S20, S20'); a main dewatering stage rotating the washing tub in a high speed to secondarily dewater the laundry to 50¯70% dryness by the centrifugal force(S30); a final laundry-loosening stage to disentangle the laundry after the real dewatering stage, to dry more, and to diminish wrinkles on the laundry(S40); and a service laundry-loosening stage rotating the washing tub agitated during 15¯25 seconds if the laundry are still in the washing machine to be checked every time unit as much as 8¯12 minutes(S50). |
