PURPOSE: An acoustic absorption member for a vehicle is provided to insulate sound and noise efficiently by exposing the heavy layer outward, and to cut down the manufacturing cost by simplifying the structure. CONSTITUTION: An acoustic absorption member is composed of sound absorbing resin felt(120) contacted to a panel(110) of a vehicle, and a heavy layer(130) contacted to the resin felt to insulate sound. The heavy layer is composed of ethylene vinyl acetate, and exposed outward. The resin felt is manufactured by thermal bonding, and a bond is spread on the resin felt. The heavy layer is placed on the resin felt, and the resin felt with the heavy layer is put into an oven and heated for 40 to 50 seconds. The resin felt with the heavy layer is compressed in a cooling mold and formed. The edges of the heavy layer and the resin felt are trimmed and finished.
