PURPOSE: An electro-optical device, a method of driving the same, and an electronic apparatus are provided to prevent variation and degradation of the characteristics of the electro-optical device or a transistor. CONSTITUTION: The electro-optical device has a plurality of scan lines and a plurality of data lines and a plurality of power supply lines. A pixel group has a plurality of pixel circuits installed in correspondence to the intersections between the plurality of scan lines and the plurality of data lines. Each pixel circuit(2) is connected to a pair of adjacent power supply lines. A scan line driving circuit(3) selects the scan line by outputting a scan signal to the plurality of scan lines. A power supply line control circuit(6) varies a voltage of the plurality of power supply lines, by being synchronized to the selection of the scan line.
